We left out of Pelican Roost at around 11:00am to head to Manatee Hammock. Cass did the driving. We got here safely and had our site set up with plenty of daylight to spare.
We chose a spot when we were down here in May, site #2 which is on the back road, a dirt road because we had hopes of getting our DirecTV to come in but alas, no such luck. In the future, we will stay on the main road because we both enjoy watching the rigs pull in and out! And of course there will be less dust because that road is paved.
The Shuttle Launch is scheduled for tomorrow.
