We were up and about at 5:30am. We took care of the dogs, showered, unhooked the RV and were on the road by 7:00am! We were quite proud of ourselves!! And the drive from Starke, FL to Seffner, FL was very easy and pretty. There was farm county on most of Rt. 75.
We arrived at Lazy Days at about 10:30am. We headed right to the on-site Camping World for our 11:00am appointment for the MKX. The service manager did say that prepping the car to set it up for towing is the most labor intensive. He said it is 12 to 14 hours of labor and he will have the vehicle until Monday even though the Service Department is closed on Sundays. Our salesman, Dave Mercer met us there. It was was nice to meet him after he and Cass had exchanged so many emails and phone calls.
He gave us a tour of Lazy Days - the new RV section, the used RV section, where you park to move from one RV to another! He showed us the Service area where they were already working on the MKX! He showed us the pool and where the free coffee is! He took us back to where the RV was parked and escorted us over to the Rally Park (the campground)!!
As of right now, Cass is getting us checked in while the dogs and I wait in the RV!!
